ANNNDDDDD. . . Finally 2

Ok well here is the 19 week post that turned into my 20 week post! Isn't it supposed to be a slow time of year? Why the heck are we so busy then? School, work, life, we definitely have this balancing act down though, however my blogging has been lacking due to that.

20 WEEKS!!! YAY! Half way there baby. I am so excited. I'm not quite sick of being pregnant but i'm sure i will developing that feeling within the next 20 weeks. We are just so excited to meet our little guy.  Some days I feel huge, and super pregnant and the baby is kicking around like crazy, but most days he is mellow and I forget he's in there until i look down and see that tummy.

We went to mesquite over presidents day weekend to meet up with Ty's folks. It was really nice to see them and spend quality time. But that drive....oh man what should have taken 5 hours turned into 8 on the way there and 6 on the way home. We were so ready to be out to the car. It's funny how when living in Utah mesquite was such a nice getaway for weather purposes in the winter but coming from California there really wasn't a change. Funny how climate can change your vacation perception. It was still so nice to be there though. So quality reading time, golf and movie watching!

This past weekend was pretty nice. I had a late night at the office on Friday so i didn't get home until late so we just stayed in and watched some TV and went to bed kinda early. Saturday was nice I started a pre-natal yoga class with my friend Laurie. I am so glad I was able to convince her to go with me. It surprisingly is an amazing workout. So i signed up for every Saturday until i give birth.  We'll see how long i can keep going but hey there were a couple of chicks in there that were 39 weeks, the were "queens", if they can do it so can I! Sunday started off to be a sad day but to cheer ourselves up we took the pup to the dog park, his absolute favorite place and then down to Laguna beach to do some shopping and bird chasing (another one of his favorite pass times). It turned into THE BEST DAY.

This cool pier that we found tucked behind some houses.
Seriously B could chase birds for hours if we let him. Haha he also though it would be a good idea to stand in the sand and let the tide come up until it was in front of him and drink ocean water. That was a first.

How far along? 20 Weeks, 1 Day
Total weight gain/loss: 18 lbs
Maternity clothes? Yup, still the same as last time. I mostly wear sweats around the house, maternity leggings to the store and regular jeans to work, unbuttoned of course!
Stretch marks? Nope, still going strong! Thank heavens.
Sleep: Sleep is alright. I started getting rib/back pain so i toss and turn a lot.
Best moment this week: Knowing that i have a doctors appointment to see our sweet baby this week.
Miss Anything? Sushi, and sandwiches, really nothing else. I love just about everything i am able to eat.
Movement: Ya buddy. Still wigglin and kickin but really not as much as before. I have only felt him a handful of times in the last few days.
Food cravings:  Still spicy stuff. You would think this babe was Mexican! Chocolate milk, this started at the beginning or the pregnancy and has held steady.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Triscuts, oh man i hate those things right now.
Symptoms: Round Ligament pain, heartburn, minor feet & hand swelling.
Have you started to show yet: Oh ya! Showing for sure.
Gender: Boy
Development: Baby is the size of a Banana! Baby is working on swallowing. Practicing for when he makes his big debut. Baby also has pretty developed taste buds so what i like right now baby is likely to like when he gets here (better eat more broccoli). Our little man sleeps about 12-14 hours a day. He's pretty lazy ;)
