Ok so tomorrow is the new Tuesday...So what? Don't judge me! This woman runs on very little sleep, and its starting to take its toll.
I work, 10 hours a day, drive for about 3, do homework for 3 so that leaves 8 hours for getting ready, sleeping and eating....ya sleeping usually loses.
Haha the emotional aspects of pregnancy are finally starting to get to me. I thought i was this champ who didn't cry but who knew writing a paper could send me into a 20 minute sob session that requires my sweet, amazingly patient husband to have rub my back until the sobs subside and pull me out of bed in order to finish my paper. Ya, i'm finally part of the emotional pregnancy club.
I just want to say I am so lucky to have my guy that helps me get through all this, and is just as excited as I am to welcome our son into this world. We went to the doctor this week and he gave us the registration forms for the hospital and i about shit my pants from excitement I seriously cannot believe we are this freaking close.
How far along? 28 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 30 lbs (i lost count somewhere, not ashamed though i'll rock this extra poundage)
Maternity clothes? Mmmmhmmmm. Love me some comfy pregnancy pants!
Stretch marks? No sir, still going strong and I am so grateful.
Sleep: I have a hard time getting comfortable, so falling asleep sucks.
Best moment this week: Going to the doctor and hearing his little heart beat, and realizing we are so close to the finish line.
Miss Anything? Sushi, caffeine, not going to lie today i miss wine.
Movement: Oh ya, he is a beast. Kicks right under my ribs and punches my belly button.
Food cravings: Umm dairy products haha. Mainly ice cream, i am being good though and trying not to indulge. I dont want to gain 60 lbs haha
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing in particular but i do get random spouts of nausea for no apparent reason, its really weird since i haven't been sick at all up until now.
Symptoms: Fatigue and pelvic pain. I went to the doctor about my pelvic pain and unfortunately it is normal and is only going to get worse :(. I have a hard time walk on ocassion, and apparently its due to how far my hips are spreading and all i kept thinking was "Dude, they were huge before we should be good to go!"
Gender: Boy
Development: Baby is still the size of the head of a butternut suqash. He is about 17 inches long and 3lbs! My baby is starting to get chunky filling out a little bit more and those fat cells are starting to come in. Baby sleeps 20-40 minutes at a time now and the rest of the time he likes to exert his energy. Starting to really feel those jabs now!
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy except for the crazy emotions that of sadness that i have been getting lately.
Looking forward to: My 4D ultrasound I love staring at his face!
